Command Established

NEMSIS submission in development

ePCR is here. NEMSIS submission is next.

Fire and EMS departments already chart patient care in Command Established, in the same place they write the incident report. What we're building now is NEMSIS v3.5 submission to your state. If your department needs it, tell us what it has to do.

And if state submission is the one thing keeping you from switching, we want to talk to you first.

Where it stands

Electronic patient care reporting (ePCR) is in the product and in daily use. What it doesn't do yet is send those reports to your state's NEMSIS system.

In the product today

ePCR, built into the incident

  • Patient care charted on the incident itself, so the call and the care live in one report
  • As many patients per incident as the call had
  • Demographics, with driver's-license autofill
  • Chief complaint and clinical narrative
  • Vitals, tracked over the course of the call
  • Medications given and procedures performed, picked from one-tap lists
  • Provider impressions coded to NEMSIS
  • Refusal of care, signed on the device
  • Voice dictation throughout

What we're building

NEMSIS state submission

  • A complete NEMSIS v3.5 record from the patient care you already chart, on the same incident as your NERIS fire report
  • Export and submission to your state EMS data system
  • Built-in NEMSIS and state validation, so problems get fixed before a report is rejected
  • The same flat price, with nothing sold as a separate EMS module

Our ePCR hasn't been through NEMSIS compliance testing yet, and we won't call it NEMSIS compliant until it has. We also aren't publishing a date until we can stand behind it. What you tell us below decides which states and workflows come first.

Tell us about your department

Two minutes. Every answer goes to the people building this, not to a sales queue.

Is NEMSIS submission the deal-breaker?

If you'd move your department to Command Established except for state submission, say so on the form and leave a phone number. One of us will call you. We'd rather build this alongside a department that needs it than guess.

Why we ask for your state

Every state runs its own EMS data system with its own required fields. Your state tells us where to start.

Why we ask whether you transport

A first-response engine company and a transporting ambulance service document very different calls.

Patient privacy

Patient care records are protected health information. Read how we handle HIPAA.

How much does NEMSIS submission matter to your department?

Everything else is ready now

Fire and EMS departments already run their scheduling, training, incident reporting, check-offs, and the rest on Command Established, at one public price.
